Mahlon Wagner received his PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Rochester (1963), and before that a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1957 from Bucknell University. He was a Fulbright Scholar in 1989 at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany examining attitudes toward various paranormal areas and at that time became the only American member of the German Skeptics Society. He has given frequent invited lectures at their annual meetings on Chiropractic, Homeopathy, Facilitated Communication and Creation-Evolution and has published articles and book chapters on research (or lack thereof) in Homeopathy and Therapeutic Touch.
