It looks like being a fun evening! Do come along.
The centre for Creative and Social Technologies (CAST) at Goldsmiths is launching officially on the 26th April (6pm -8.30pm).
We would be delighted if you would join us for wine, sushi, and a series of short talks featuring some of Goldsmiths' most engaging academics and our friends from industry. Our speakers bring together a diverse range of disciplines under the CAST theme for 2012-13: Innovation.
Compere for the evening is poet and Goldsmiths graduate Mark Grist and Pat Loughrey, Warden of Goldsmiths, will offer some opening remarks.
Pecha Kucha speakers include:
Andrew Shoben (Greyworld)
Blake Morrison (Creative and Life Writing, Goldsmiths) Chris Brauer (Co-Director of CAST, Goldsmiths) Chris French (Psychology, Goldsmiths) Les Back (Dean of the Graduate School, Goldsmiths) Lisa Moretti (CAST MA Student, Goldsmiths) Mark d'Inverno (Computing, Goldsmiths) Sian Prime (ICCE, Goldsmiths)
Our speakers have been challenged to brevity and impact: 6 minutes and 40 seconds to explore innovation in their field.
We very much hope you will join us,
